The mission of waiist.deep is to, allow people as a diaspora to embody a piece of the physical aspect of femininity. To enhance the beauty that is already standing. Waiist.deep values love, selflessness, and authenticity. “ Don’t explain your philosophy. Embody it.” Waist beads originated in KMT (Egypt). They were made popular by the west African Yoruba ethnicity in Nigeria. Waiist.deep is not fast fashion majority of the items are carefully hand placed. Waiist.deep was founded June 2020. Surprisingly
started as a hobby. Which quickly turned into a business. The love received from creating jewelry instilled determination to keep creating. At the young age of 17 there was no way to know how much of a success this would become. At the end of the road real achievement is in the people not numbers, so receiving positivity and speaking to you all truly gives me so much joy!
